About Eric Frankovic

Eric Frankovic, a dynamic and highly motivated executive with demonstrated leadership across payments, working capital management strategies, technology and merchant processing, is now Head of WEX Corporate Payments. For the past year, Eric has served as Senior Vice President in Corporate Payments responsible for the Direct-to-Corporate commercial group, the Financial Institution commercial team, and WEX’s in-house Supplier Enablement service team.

Prior to WEX, Eric was Senior Vice President & General Manager of the American Express Global Client Group, managing 150 of the largest corporate payment relationships for American Express including many Fortune 100 companies. In this role Eric was responsible for a team of over 200 people globally, goaled to retain and grow these top relationships while focusing on developing next generation, integrated, business to business tools.

Before American Express, Eric was the Head of Global Sales at Taulia Inc., a Financial Tech
company based in California, where he had P&L responsibility for the global sales organization selling to Fortune 1000 companies headquartered all over the world. With an employee base deployed in 9 countries encompassing sales, pre-sales, sales operations, and sales training, his team was focused on selling working capital management solutions, working primarily with the CFOs and Treasurers of enterprise size companies.

Prior to Taulia, Eric spent 18 years with American Express. His time was divided between
running Middle Market sales teams and Large Market Sales and Account Development teams in the Corporate Payments and Merchant Services organizations.

Eric has a BS in Marketing from Towson University and an MBA in International Management from the University of Phoenix.
