Fuel price trends showed a general decrease in pump prices nationally, with the exception of Sydney who are at the peak of their current petrol price cycle, whereby unleaded petrol (ULP) was being sold by retailers for an average of 178.2cpl.

Fuel price trends remain very high around the country this week, with Brisbane experiencing the highest unleaded petrol (ULP) prices at 182.6cpl on average. With the holiday season fast approaching, it is likely there will not be a reprieve in petrol prices for at least the next few weeks.
