Brisbane

Current ULP average: 179.0cpl

Price range over the last week: 153.9cpl – 199.9cpl

Average prices dropped by 10cpl in Brisbane over the last week in comparison to other capitals.

Sydney

Current ULP average: 181.5cpl

Price range over the last week: 146.5cpl – 219.9cpl

Sydney also saw an increase due to ore retailers putting prices up as the cycle continues to carry across the state. This means Sydney is now sitting at the second highest priced capital for the week.

Melbourne

Current ULP average: 178.6pl

Price range over the last week: 148.5cpl – 206.9cpl

Good news for motorists in Melbourne with average prices slightly dropping. This is most likely a combination of some locations putting prices up whilst others are slowly starting to discount down from the top of the price cycle.

Adelaide

Current ULP average: 161.1cpl

Price range over the last week: 142.9cpl – 219.7cpl

Interest change for Adelaide who have experienced a start of a bigger cycle with a small jump from last week – Adelaide’s current new peak price is 199.9cpl with many locations selling ULP for 149.9cpl.

Perth

Current ULP average: 166.8cpl

Price range over the last week: 144.7cpl – 199.9cpl

We’re expecting prices to continue to drop for Perth.

Darwin (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 182.8cpl

Price range over the last week: 177.5cpl – 186.9cpl

Slight drop in prices for Darwin over the last week – however Darwin is still ranking as one of the highest capitals just above Sydney.

Hobart (no price cycle)

Current ULP average: 175.3cpl

Price range over the last week: 163.9cpl – 198.9cpl

Similar to Darwin – Hobart averages are down since last week.

Brisbane – 200.0cpl

Minor movements across each state for diesel with prices expected to rise due to the wholesale prices increasing over the week.

Wholesale trends

Wholesale petrol prices increased this week, with average TGP prices going dropping by 4.9cpl.

Wholesale diesel prices also increased this week, with average TGP prices dropping by 14.4cpl.
