Sachin Dhawan
Chief Technology Officer
Sachin joined WEX in 2023 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the global technology organization inclusive of product and platform technology, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud engineering, technical operations, enterprise applications, corporate IT, and technology-risk management. Sachin has a history of leading large technology organizations at public companies with more than 25 years of financial technology and AI/ML experience in high-growth environments, including consumer and business-to-business markets.
Before joining WEX, Sachin held pivotal roles in innovative technology leadership. As the CTO at Stitch Fix, he led the development of a personalized styling service using deep learning and AI. Prior, Sachin served as Visa’s Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations, where he played a key role in overseeing the development and expansion of Visa’s global technology infrastructure. His experience also encompasses serving as the CTO of Blackhawk Network, a leading provider in branded prepaid payment networks.
Sachin’s extensive background also includes spending over 16 years at PayPal and Microsoft, where he made significant contributions to the global growth of PayPal’s consumer products and played a crucial role in shaping Microsoft’s advertising business.
Sachin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. Sachin is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
